My Story
"The Rebirth Only God Could Orchestrate"
My story began long before I had the language to understand what was happening to me. I experienced sexual assault at a very young age, and the impact of that trauma shaped my teenage years in ways I never chose. By 13 I was caught in patterns I didn’t understand, and by 18 I was on my own trying to survive the only way I knew how.
In my early adulthood I entered an abusive marriage that nearly cost me my life. Leaving that relationship meant starting over from nothing homeless, disconnected from my family, and carrying shame for choices that were rooted in trauma, not character. I did what I had to do to survive even when it broke my own heart.
Eventually, a family took me in and gave me a safe place to land. During that time I reconnected with my dad after two years of silence. We had one month together before he passed away suddenly. He was my best friend, and losing him changed me forever.
Not long after someone I trusted attempted to traffic me. I escaped that same night, and that moment became a turning point. It forced me to see how deeply trauma had shaped my life and how urgently I needed to reclaim my power.
After that I was determined to rebuild. I got my own place and worked two jobs just to stay afloat. I was barely surviving, exhausted, and trying to hold everything together. During that chapter, I experienced an unexpected miscarriage with someone I was seeing another layer of grief I carried quietly.
As I continued trying to make ends meet I eventually quit both jobs and became a dancer to survive. One night while simply trying to enjoy myself with a friend I was drugged and assaulted by that same friend another violation that pushed me deeper into my healing journey and my commitment to break the cycles that had followed me since childhood.
Through all of this I kept rising. Every moment that tried to destroy me became a moment that shaped me. Today I share my story not from a place of pain but from a place of healing, strength, and purpose. I am a survivor who has rebuilt her life from the ground up literally. I now help others reclaim their voice, their power, and their inner child because I know what it feels like to lose yourself and I know what it takes to come home again.
